Is this machine worth buying?

What it costs, what a session brings in, how many you can book a month. See when it pays for itself, what happens if it books half that, and what it earns after. No account, nothing saved.

Your numbers

Delivered, set up, trained. The whole number, not the deposit.

If it varies by area, use the session you will do most.

The first months are slower than the flyer says. Try half of what you hope.

Fill in what the machine costs and what a session brings in, and the payback appears here; add how many you can book a month and it turns into months. Nothing you type is saved anywhere.

How this is worked out

The machine pays for itself one session at a time, so the tool divides what it costs by what one session keeps after its own costs, the supplies, the card fee, and the upkeep spread over the year’s sessions, and rounds up. That is the payback in sessions. Divided by how many you can book a month, it is the payback in months, which is the number that decides it.

Everything hangs on the bookings, and that is the number everyone gets wrong on the day they fall in love with a machine. So the tool also prices half your pace, and the verdict is worded on the months: under a year is sound if the bookings are real, two years is a bet on demand, longer means the machine must keep working and keep booking long after the excitement.

If you pay monthly, the machine costs what you will actually pay, not the sticker, and the tool says how many sessions a month cover one payment. Two more things it cannot see: the money has to be new, not a client who used to buy something else from you; and if a session takes an hour you would have sold anyway, only the difference counts.
