What if I raise a price?

Raise one service by a few dollars. See what it adds up to in a year, and how many clients you could lose and still come out ahead. No account, nothing saved.

Your numbers

One service, the one you are thinking of raising.

Try $5 or $10 first. Any number works.

Roughly. Count the bookings, not the clients.

Fill in what the service costs, how much more you want to charge, and how often you do it, and the year’s number appears here. Nothing you type is saved anywhere.

How this is worked out

A raise on a service you already do costs nothing to make: the room, the products and the hour are the same as yesterday, and only the number on the menu changed. So the month is the raise times how often you do it, and the year is twelve of those, with your tax share off after.

The other number is the scary one. The tool divides what the service brings in today by the new price and rounds up: that is how many bookings have to stay for you to make what you make now. Everyone above that is the raise. If every one has to stay, the tool says so, because that is a different decision.
